British company Cera raises $150 million to expand its artificial intelligence platform

Cera provides in-home healthcare services and utilizes its own AI models, as well as solutions from Google Gemini AI and Microsoft ChatGPT. The company’s app helps staff plan their work and record patient data, enabling the prediction of disease and injury risks. According to the company, this approach reduces hospitalizations by up to 70% and accelerates patient discharges by up to five times.

Most of the funds were raised through debt financing, with the round led by BDT & MSD Partners and Schroders Capital.

In 2022, Cera raised $320 million, and in 2023, it achieved positive EBITA and became financially self-sufficient.
