CodiPlay raises $9 mln to enhance digital literacy in general education schools in MENA

Kazakhstan’s EdTech startup CodiPlay recently secured $9 million in Series A funding, achieving a valuation of $100 million. The funding round included prominent investors from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar. Among them were the Executive Vice President of Strategy at Qatar National Bank, renowned business angel Christian Eichner, and the private equity fund Global Capital. The funds will support CodiPlay’s expansion in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region, particularly in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
