Elon Musk’s X social network suffered another outage on Friday. Around 4 p.m., users reported issues ranging from a blank “For You” feed to photos not loading, posts not publishing, and search not working. The XMoney banking service also went down.
The outage reportedly began after the beta launch of XChat, a new private messaging feature. However, the company has not commented to reporters.
The incident comes just a week after the previous outage on May 22. That same day, X went down for 24 hours, with feeds and posts not loading.
While some functionality has now started to recover, the system is still not fully stable. The API for developers is also down.
X’s technical stability is again in question. The platform still has a lot of work to do before it becomes the “super app” that Musk dreams of.
