Google has made it easier to unsubscribe from Gmail. Now users can instantly get rid of unwanted ads and notifications using the “Manage Subscriptions” button.
What’s new?
A new feature has appeared in the Gmail Android app — a convenient page for managing all subscriptions. Now, under each spam or junk message, there is a special button, by clicking which you can block messages from this sender.
When and for whom?
The feature is currently available only for Android users. Owners of the web version of Gmail and the iOS app will have to wait a little longer. Google has not yet announced a global rollout date.
Not immediately
Google warns that after you unsubscribe, it may take a few days for senders to stop sending you messages.
Gmail has finally made it easier to unsubscribe. It’s now easier and faster to clear your inbox of junk mail. But for now, it’s only available for Android users.
