Console raises $6.2 million dollar in investment

When you need technical support, IT staff often have to wait. But former Rippling product manager Andrei Serban is determined to solve this problem with AI. His new startup, Console, is working in exactly that direction.

Serban, who previously founded security startup Fuzzbuzz and sold it to Rippling, saw an opportunity to automate important but repetitive tasks in the help desk using artificial intelligence. With this dream, he left Rippling to launch Console.

What does it do? Console is an AI assistant that works through Slack and can handle more than 50% of tasks on its own, such as resetting users’ passwords, providing access to applications (Figma, Miro), and diagnosing computer problems. In more complex cases, it involves IT staff in the process.

Key Difference: Console is not a complete replacement for existing IT services, but rather an “AI companion.” Unlike other similar products, Console can be deployed in a matter of weeks, which is a big advantage for companies.

Who believes it? Scale AI, Flock Safety, and Calendly have become Console’s first customers. Thanks to these successes, the startup has received a $6.2 million investment from Thrive Capital. Vince Hankes, a representative of Thrive, believes that this technology will quickly develop and become an integral part of the company’s operations.

Future plans: Console aims to become the number one assistant not only for IT, but also for HR, finance, and legal departments.
