ICT Week Uzbekistan is the country’s largest and most prestigious IT industry event, held annually since 2004. This year, it will unite over 20,000 participants, 300+ startups, and representatives from 50+ countries. More than 300 B2B meetings will be organized with leading tech companies, government agencies, and venture funds. The event is supported by major global partners such as Huawei, ZTE, Yandex Uzbekistan, Beeline, and Data-Volt.
Main Objective
ICT Week aims to develop Uzbekistan’s digital economy, support the startup ecosystem, boost IT service exports, and strengthen the country’s position on the global technology map.
Key Events of the Week
- September 23 — Shared Services and Offshore Outsourcing Summit (CAEX) — strategic sessions on IT and BPO export prospects, keynote speeches, and office tours.
- September 24 — Offshore Outsourcing Conference Workshop (Ministry of Digital Technologies).
- September 24 — Game GAP (CAEX) — festival connecting international game companies with local developers.
- September 25 — Korean Forum (CAEX) — dedicated to enhancing Korea–Uzbekistan IT cooperation.
- September 25 — Startup & Venture Summit (CAEX) — showcasing Uzbekistan’s and Central Asia’s startup ecosystem, with networking and investment opportunities.
- September 26 — Global Startup Awards: Central Asia Final (CAEX) — regional finals of the world’s largest startup award.
- September 27–28 — Digital Weekend (Ministry of Digital Technologies) — WebSummit Spotlight: Uzbekistan, Investor’s Room, Startup & Tech Expo, Clash of Startups competition, and grand stage shows.
Uzbekistan’s IT Ecosystem
- IT Park residency: tax exemptions, 1 year of free office space, and salary compensation of up to 15% under the Zero Risk program.
- Infrastructure: 14 IT Park branches, 205 IT centers, and 225,000 m² of office space.
- Startup ecosystem: 500+ active projects in e-commerce, EdTech, FinTech, MedTech, and AI.
- Investment: In 2025, startups attracted over $260M in venture funding, raising the ecosystem’s total value to $1.2B+.
- Global recognition: Ranked #1 in Central Asia and #2 globally for growth rate in the StartupBlink Global Startup Ecosystem Index 2025.
