Participants will have the opportunity to present their startup projects to leading venture funds.
As part of the ICTWeek tech exhibition, IT Park has announced the Startup and Venture Summit 2024 for startups and investors.
Foreign and local experts will speak at the summit, sharing their experiences and insights with participants. Among them are:
- Shamil Ibragimov, research scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT);
- Omid Mehrinfakh, managing partner at Plug and Play;
- Magzhan Madiev, CEO of Astana Hub;
- Roman Lavrentyev, COO of Uzum;
- Robin Butler, partner at Sturgeon Capital, and many others.
The event is aimed at representatives of startups, venture funds, business angels, and other interested parties. Attendees will learn about programs for the development of startups and venture investments in Uzbekistan and beyond.
The summit will take place from September 18 to 19. Participants will have the opportunity to present their startup projects at Tech Alley to venture funds such as AloqaVentures, UzVC, and Semurg Ventures, and also receive mentoring support from international players.
The event program includes a special session for game developers, Gamedev Day. Additionally, the summit will host the regional final of the She Loves Tech women’s startup competition, offering investments of up to $50,000.
