IT Park Ventures has participated in a $4 million seed funding round for UK-based Islamic fintech startup Ayan Capital, contributing $1 million to the round. International investors from the United Kingdom and Switzerland also took part in the round. The funds raised will be directed toward further scaling the company, advancing its technological solutions, and expanding its engineering team based in Uzbekistan.
Ayan Capital is a UK-based Islamic fintech startup founded by serial entrepreneurs Abdulla Kurbanov, Firdavs Mirzoyev, and Zuhursho Rahmatulloyev — the same team behind Alif, one of the largest fintech companies in Central Asia.
Headquartered in London, Ayan Capital is building a digital ecosystem for Islamic financial services in the United Kingdom. The company currently offers fully digital halal vehicle financing for individuals, entrepreneurs, and businesses, powered by its proprietary automated scoring and underwriting technology. In addition, Ayan Capital is actively developing new financial products including the Ayan Pay payment platform, debit cards, Islamic deposits, and buy-now-pay-later solutions.
Ayan Capital holds a license from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), confirming the company’s compliance with the standards of one of the world’s most advanced financial markets.
The investment from IT Park Ventures will be used to further develop the company’s technology ecosystem, build AI-powered solutions for credit scoring and vehicle financing automation, and expand the engineering team in Uzbekistan.
Ayan Capital’s strategic goal is to evolve from a specialized Islamic fintech company into a full-scale digital neo-bank in the United Kingdom. The company has already announced plans to obtain a banking license and build one of the largest Islamic financial ecosystems in the Western market.
For IT Park Ventures, this investment is part of its broader strategy of supporting globally scalable technology startups with strong expertise in fintech, artificial intelligence, and digital financial services. The fund places particular focus on companies that operate successfully in international markets while simultaneously growing their technology and product teams in Uzbekistan — contributing to the development of the national innovation ecosystem and the creation of high-skilled jobs.
“We invest, first and foremost, in teams capable of transforming entire markets. The founders of Ayan Capital have already proven this by building one of the largest fintech companies in Central Asia. Today, they are creating a next-generation digital bank in the United Kingdom, and we are proud to be part of this growth story. Supporting startups that build global businesses while developing strong teams within the country is one of IT Park Ventures’ key priorities. We believe that the combination of a strong team, cutting-edge technology, and ambitious goals will enable the company to secure a meaningful position in the UK market,” said Dalerkhon Nоdirov, Director of IT Park Ventures.
The investment in Ayan Capital strengthens IT Park Ventures’ international portfolio and reaffirms the fund’s commitment to supporting promising technology companies that create innovative solutions for global markets while contributing to the growth of Uzbekistan’s technology ecosystem.
