Stargate: The Artificial Intelligence Supercomputer
Earlier this year, Microsoft and OpenAI entered into talks to build a data center that would house an AI supercomputer called Stargate. The construction cost of the facility was expected to exceed $100 billion. However, Microsoft later listed OpenAI as a “competitor,” signaling a new era in the relationship between the two companies.

In the future, AI technologies are expected to consume significantly more energy, which could cause problems with electricity supply.
