Do you want to establish yourself in the IT field? Registration for the ICT4Girls Uzbekistan Schoolgirls Olympiad has begun! This is your chance to test your programming skills and secure a spot at the international Olympiad in Germany.
Registration and Initial Selection:
- During registration, participants will receive 10 test questions in their chosen programming language.
- Those who answer at least 5 questions correctly will qualify for the regional stage.
Who Can Participate?
Schoolgirls, vocational school, academic lyceum, and college students under the age of 20.
Those who pass the initial selection test during registration.
Objectives of the ICT4Girls Olympiad:
- Enhancing the teaching of informatics and programming in educational institutions at a modern standard.
- Increasing schoolgirls’ interest in computer science and programming.
- Identifying talented young programmers and developing their coding, algorithmic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Creating an environment for talented girls to engage in healthy competition with their international peers and preparing them for success in global Olympiads.
- Promoting the achievements of talented youth in local and international Olympiads.
The Olympiad Will Be Held in Two Stages:
Regional Stage: The top 3 participants with the highest scores will advance to the national stage.
National Stage: 12 winners will be selected and awarded accordingly!
The Regional Stage will be held simultaneously across all regions.
The National Stage will take place in Tashkent.
Olympiad questions will be presented in Uzbek and English.
Special Opportunity for Winners!
A special boot camp on competitive programming will be organized for the winners. The top 4 participants will join the Uzbekistan national team and represent the country at the European Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics (EGOI 2025) in Bonn, Germany
Tasks will be solved using C++ or Python.
Participants will have 5 hours to complete the tasks in each stage.
