On September 22–25, ICT Week Uzbekistan 2026 will be held at the CAEx complex in Tashkent. This year’s program will place special emphasis on tech entrepreneurship, the venture market, and international scaling. Local and international founders, venture funds, angel investors, representatives of global tech companies, and industry experts will gather in one place.
The agenda brings together several specialized events where startup teams can present their projects, find new opportunities and valuable contacts, while the investment community can discover promising solutions and potential partners. ICT Week will serve as a hub for networking and knowledge exchange for all participants.
Startup & Venture Summit — The Main Starting Point of the Startup Program
The Startup & Venture Summit will take place on September 22. The event will gather founders, investors, and startup ecosystem representatives from around the world.
At the core of the program is the next stage of the region’s venture market development: the growth of local startups, capital raising, international scaling, and the roles of government and private investors in ecosystem growth. Founders of tech companies, venture fund representatives, and leaders of organizations working with innovative businesses will take the stage. The summit will launch the entire ICT Week startup program and set the key themes that will unfold over the following days.
Enterprise Uzbekistan Summit — A New Tech Jurisdiction for International Business
On September 23, the Enterprise Uzbekistan Summit will be held, dedicated to developing Uzbekistan as a new tech jurisdiction. Focus areas include legal certainty, institutional infrastructure, and conditions created to attract global tech companies and investments.
The program features presentations from Enterprise Uzbekistan representatives, keynote sessions by EY and BDO experts, a fireside chat with IT Park Uzbekistan and Enterprise Uzbekistan, as well as a panel discussion titled “Rethinking Jurisdictions for the Global Technology Economy”.
Participants will discuss why international companies choose Uzbekistan for business, how roles are distributed among key ecosystem institutions, and what regulatory conditions are necessary for the continued growth of the tech economy.
Global Startup Ecosystem Awards by StartupBlink — Honoring Top Startup Ecosystems
On the same day, a special event co-organized by StartupBlink and IT Park Uzbekistan — the Global Startup Ecosystem Awards — will take place. The ceremony will recognize cities, countries, and regions that have achieved high positions in StartupBlink’s global rankings. Following the ceremony, a panel discussion on “Best Practices in Startup Ecosystem Development” will feature representatives from leading ecosystems sharing growth drivers, resource allocation priorities, and actionable practices for emerging tech markets.
Startup World Cup — From Tashkent to San Francisco
One of the week’s headline events will be the regional final of the Startup World Cup on September 24. Top startups will deliver live pitches before an international jury and venture partners. The winner of the regional stage will earn the opportunity to advance to the global Startup World Cup in San Francisco, where finalists from around the globe will compete for a $1 million investment prize.
For startups, the regional stage is not only a path to the global final, but also a chance to test their pitch before international experts, receive feedback, and showcase their product to the venture market.
AI Native: Ideas to Innovation — From AI Idea to Business Solution
Also on September 24, the AI Native: Ideas to Innovation program will be held for teams and specialists working with artificial intelligence. The focus is on transforming AI ideas into functional technology and commercial products. Topics covered include LLMs, cloud technologies, multilingual AI, robotics, AI agents, and business automation. Special attention will also be given to opportunities for young specialists — AI education, hackathons, and career tracks.
For AI startups, this is a chance to see which tech directions are transitioning from experimental phases into real products and commercial solutions.
AWS Community Day Uzbekistan — Technologies for Scaling Products
On September 25, AWS Community Day Uzbekistan will take place, focusing on AWS technologies, cloud solutions, and modern tech trends. For tech teams, these topics are especially critical during the growth phase. As user bases expand, startups must tackle infrastructure, performance, reliability, and product scaling challenges. Thus, AWS Community Day complements the investment side of ICT Week with a technical perspective on company growth.
Ignyte AI Challenge — AI Startup Pitches
Another key event on September 25 is the Ignyte AI Challenge. Attendees can watch startup teams present their AI solutions to international experts. It offers an opportunity to explore promising projects, see what AI products are currently being developed, and observe how founders pitch their solutions to a professional audience.
TAQDIMOT — Startup Show & Pitch Battle
The startup program will wrap up on September 25 with TAQDIMOT (Startup Show & Pitch Battle). Promising tech projects will be showcased on stage through short presentations and a pitch battle. For startups, this provides another chance to present their product to a broad professional audience and test how clearly the team can articulate its value proposition.
TAQDIMOT will serve as the final startup-focused format of the four-day ICT Week agenda.
