A great opportunity for young people in the IT sector

Based on the resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 310 dated May 19, 2021 and No. 95 dated February 17, 2024, a mechanism for financial support for young people in obtaining international IT certificates has been established in Uzbekistan. In accordance with this resolution, the funds spent by young people on obtaining certificates and studying in the IT sector will be compensated.

Young people’s interest in IT certificates is growing

In November and December 2024 and January 2025, the number of applications for compensation for international IT certificates increased sharply. During this period, about 800 young people submitted their applications and were able to receive compensation.
In particular, in January 2025, the number of applications equaled the indicators of the previous November and December, setting a new record. This indicates a growing need for IT and international certificates among young people.

Why are IT certificates important?

International IT certificates create an opportunity for young professionals to be competitive in the international labor market. Certified specialists have an advantage in obtaining high-paying jobs. Therefore, state support for such certificates is a great help for many young people.

What changes are expected in the future?

Due to the growing interest in the compensation program, the relevant departments are organizing the process of considering applications and reimbursing funds more efficiently. In the future, it is planned to further expand this program and adapt it to new technological areas.

The sharp increase in demand for IT certificates in the last three months indicates the great interest of young people in this area. The support mechanism provided by the state is an important factor in turning this interest into real results.
