At Canva Create 2026, the company unveiled a range of new products and features designed for professional designers, marketers, and content creators. The announcements include the expansion of the Canva AI 2.0 ecosystem, deeper integration with Affinity, and the public rollout of Canva Code 2.0 for all users.
Canva has expanded its integration with the Affinity suite, which it acquired in 2025. Users can now connect projects created in Affinity Designer, Affinity Photo, and Affinity Publisher with Canva’s Brand System, making it easier to manage professional design assets and brand materials within the Canva platform. In addition, the professional animation tool Cavalry is now available free of charge to Canva users, while Affinity has gained integration with Claude to help automate repetitive creative tasks using AI. Canva also introduced new integrations with Capture One and DaVinci Resolve, allowing creative professionals to move their projects more efficiently across different workflows.
The company also announced Canva Code 2.0, which is now available to all Canva users, including those on the free plan.
Canva Code 2.0 enables users to create websites, landing pages, small applications, and interactive experiences simply by describing what they want in natural language. Instead of generating static code, the created projects remain fully editable inside Canva’s visual editor, just like any other design element.
The new version also introduces more than 50 ready-made templates, HTML import support, real-time collaboration, and the ability to publish projects directly to the web. Users can import HTML projects created with other AI coding tools and continue editing them within Canva’s visual interface.
According to Canva, Code 2.0 is not intended to replace professional code editors. Instead, it is designed to make interactive content creation more accessible to users without programming experience. The tool is aimed at building presentations, educational materials, marketing pages, and lightweight web applications.
With these updates, Canva continues expanding its platform beyond graphic design by bringing design, interactive content creation, and creative workflows together in a single workspace.
