Startup Garage has launched Irshod.uz, a platform focused on startup ideas and practical playbooks for aspiring founders in Uzbekistan. The platform aims to help early-stage founders understand where to start, how to evaluate an idea, and how to validate market demand before building a product.
Irshod’s core principle is: “Validate first, build later.”
“I don’t think we have a shortage of ideas. The main problem is identifying which ideas represent real opportunities, testing them quickly and cheaply, and then turning them into companies. We are building Irshod to fill this gap,” said Muhammad Khalil.
Practical playbooks for founders
Instead of traditional articles, Irshod focuses on practical playbooks covering key startup processes, including identifying problems, finding ideal customers, conducting customer interviews, analyzing competitors, and testing demand through landing pages and smoke tests. The goal is to reduce the risk of founders spending months building products before discovering that there is little or no market demand.
Bringing global models to Uzbekistan
The platform also analyzes companies, business models and startup opportunities across sectors such as AgroTech, TourismTech, LogisticsTech, GovTech, SaaS and AI.
Rather than simply copying foreign companies, Irshod focuses on understanding which problem these companies solved and whether the same problem exists in Uzbekistan. If a similar opportunity exists locally, the next step is to adapt the model to local customers, pricing, distribution and market conditions.
Irshod currently operates as a platform for startup ideas and playbooks. In the future, the team plans to add tools that would allow founders to store ideas, manage validation processes, record customer interviews and track experiments.
This could eventually turn Irshod from a knowledge base into an idea-to-company platform, where founders can discover an opportunity, validate it, assess demand and then move on to building a product.
Building a startup knowledge base in Uzbek
Another focus of Irshod is making practical startup knowledge more accessible in the Uzbek language. The platform plans to regularly publish new playbooks and startup opportunity analyses. In the future, it also aims to develop into a marketplace where founders, investors and industry experts can share their knowledge and experience. Startup Garage says its broader goal is to make building a startup a more understandable, practical and systematic process for more people.
Irshod.uz is now open for users.
