Trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Belarus reached $731.3 million in January-August 2026, according to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
For comparison, bilateral trade turnover amounted to $965 million in 2025. The figure recorded during the first eight months of 2026 reflects the continued development of economic ties between the two countries.
Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus extends beyond trade and includes investment and industrial projects. Uzbek-invested projects are being implemented in Belarus across several sectors, including livestock farming, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, light industry, construction materials, furniture and pharmaceuticals.
In particular, 39 livestock projects are planned with a total investment of $107.2 million. The projects are expected to create capacity for raising around 56,900 cattle.
The two sides are also discussing measures to increase bilateral trade, expand industrial cooperation and develop new joint projects.
