Instagram has introduced a new feature that allows users to freely choose the order of posts on their profile. Now, posts are manually arranged according to the user’s wishes, not based on the time of their publication.
This functionality is being introduced as part of Instagram’s Anyway initiative. The main goal of the initiative is to reduce the pressure of “perfection” and give freedom and pleasure to creators.
Changing the order of posting posts is done via “drag-and-drop”. To do this, just click on the “Edit profile” button. The update will reach all users in the coming weeks.
Another new feature on Instagram is also available — users can share the music they are listening to on Spotify in real time. Others will be able to listen to the song via this link.
Meta considers these innovations a step towards making the platform more flexible and focused on the user experience.
