The delegation of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan reached important agreements with Apple on the development of IT education and programming communities during its visit to the United States. Future areas of cooperation and new projects were discussed during the meeting.
Main areas of the agreement
Students across Uzbekistan will have the opportunity to create projects and participate in competitions using Swift Playground.
The Apple Community will be officially opened in Uzbekistan and the Apple Authorized Training Center for Education will be expanded. International mentors will also be involved.
Through the Apple Certified Developer program, young programmers will be able to obtain international certificates. In addition, the costs of obtaining a certificate will be fully covered.
The Apple Coders Initiative project will be launched in 2025
The Apple Coders Initiative program will also start in March 2025. Courses will be offered in online and offline formats. The Ministry of Digital Technologies will select 10 talented students to participate in this project and fully cover their tuition fees.
This partnership between Uzbekistan and Apple will take IT education to a new level and create new opportunities for young programmers. Through projects such as Swift Playground, Apple Certified Developer, and Apple Coders Initiative, young people will be able to receive international education and find their place in the global IT market.
