Uzbek SaaS startup AliPos has attracted another $200,000 investment, with participation from Imkon Ventures and Nexus Capital Management Angel Club, one of Uzbekistan’s first structured angel investment clubs operating with a portfolio management approach.

The round was led by Imkon Ventures, with $200,000 deployed to support AliPos’s next stage of growth. The investment also includes participation from Nexus Capital Management Angel Club, a newly established angel investment community founded by leading venture fund operators and business leaders in Uzbekistan, including representatives of Alliance Business Club.

AliPos is a SaaS platform founded by Mukhammad Ali Akbarov, Jonibek Miralimov, Komil Khamidov from Samarkand. The company builds digital solutions for restaurants, cafés, hotels, and the wider HoReCa sector. Its platform helps businesses manage point-of-sale operations, inventory, financial reporting, and customer analytics through one integrated system.

The new investment follows AliPos’s recent fundraising momentum. The startup previously received investment from AloqaVentures, and has also attracted interest from prominent investors including Jakhongir Artikkhodjayev and other private investors after its appearance on Taqdimot / The Pitch Uzbekistan.

The participation of Nexus Capital Management Angel Club marks an important step for Uzbekistan’s early-stage investment ecosystem. The club brings together experienced entrepreneurs, private investors, and startup specialists to invest in promising local startups through a more organized and portfolio-driven model.

“AliPos represents exactly the kind of practical, scalable company that Uzbekistan’s startup ecosystem needs,” said Tohirjon Mirzajonov, Managing Partner of Imkon Ventures. “The company is solving a clear pain point for restaurants and HoReCa businesses, and it has the potential to become a regional SaaS leader. This investment is not only about capital, but also about helping the founder build a stronger company with access to investors, operators, and strategic partners.”

For Imkon Ventures, the deal reflects its broader mission to back high-potential founders in Uzbekistan and Central Asia at the early stage. The fund focuses on companies with strong local market relevance, clear revenue potential, and the ability to scale beyond their initial geography.

For Nexus Capital Management Angel Club, the AliPos investment is also a signal of a new model of angel investing in Uzbekistan — one where private capital is organized, guided by experienced venture operators, and deployed into startups with long-term portfolio thinking.

“Uzbekistan has many successful business owners who want to invest in technology companies, but the market needs structure, trust, and professional portfolio management,” said a representative of Nexus Capital Management Angel Club. “Our goal is to create a bridge between strong private investors and promising startup founders. AliPos is a strong example of the type of company we want to support.”

AliPos plans to use the investment to improve its product, expand its customer base, strengthen its sales operations, and support more restaurants, cafés, and HoReCa businesses as they digitize their daily operations.

The deal comes at a time when Uzbekistan’s startup ecosystem is gaining more investor attention. More local startups are now attracting capital from venture funds, angel investors, corporate-backed funds, and strategic business groups. The emergence of organized angel clubs such as Nexus Capital Management could play an important role in increasing early-stage funding activity across the country.
