On June 21–22 (Saturday and Sunday), 12 commercial banks in Uzbekistan will provide currency exchange and international money transfer services. This was announced by the Central Bank’s press service.
With increasing demand for financial services on weekends, several banks have activated select exchange offices and money transfer points during non-business days.

Additionally, 24/7 self-service currency exchange ATMs are available across various locations. Most banks also offer round-the-clock currency exchange operations through their mobile applications.
The Central Bank continues its efforts to improve financial discipline and service quality. In May, 13 banks were fined, while 17 banks received official warnings for failing to meet capital adequacy and loan recovery requirements.
