From brokerage pain to AI startup: the story of TheCarGo
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on Telegram

TheCarGo, an AI-powered operating system running in ten US auto-transport brokerage companies, has secured $110,000 in funding from Yoshlar Ventures and angel investors. The project plans to launch two new AI agents in the coming months and aims to open its next funding round, led by US investors, by the end of the year.

Many AI products are typically built by experts from massive tech labs or prestigious universities. However, Ziyobek Turdiyev’s path began quite differently—right from phone calls. He started his career as a waiter and saved up to buy his very first computer through his own hard work. That very computer became the launching pad for his next big journey.

In 2019, he entered a US auto-transport brokerage company as a regular agent. The workflow was grueling: continuous cold calls to clients, price negotiations, hunting for carriers, and closing deals—all demanding high speed and intense stress. Many new agents couldn’t even last a single year. Yet, Turdiyev continued to thrive in this environment, learning every moving part of the industry from the inside out. From sales and dispatching to negotiations and customer relations, he mastered all layers of this business through hands-on experience.

By 2021, he climbed to management level and trained over 50 brokers. He later took the helm of two US auto-transport companies—Mate Auto Transport and Ocean Blue Auto Transport. In 2023, his team generated over $350,000 in sales while he simultaneously managed operational processes and client relations.

While managing these companies was complex, the primary problem lay in the fragmentation of operating systems. On any given workday, the team was forced to juggle up to ten disconnected platforms: CRM systems, Super Dispatch, Central Dispatch, RingCentral, payment systems, Excel sheets, email, and SMS. Some processes were even handled entirely manually. As a result, workflows slowed down, client responses dragged, and top-tier agents quit due to the overwhelming operational overload.

After several sleepless nights, the realization became clear: the problem wasn’t the people’s performance, but the processes themselves. Enterprise solutions were too expensive and rigid, while niche tools designed for small industries lacked integration. At that exact point, a single decision took shape—if a solution didn’t exist, they had to build it. This sparked the birth of TheCarGo project.

In 2023, while working on integrating his brokerage system with a CRM, Ziyobek crossed paths with Bakhtiyor Ergashev. Bakhtiyor was an expert who had gained valuable experience at IT Park Uzbekistan, taught computer science in school, and worked as a software and architecture engineer on large-scale projects. In 2024, they officially launched their partnership.

What truly sets TheCarGo apart is that it was forged in a live environment. In 2024, the project began development directly within an active, functioning brokerage firm. The internal jamoa (team) served as the initial users. Every single feature was battle-tested under real client demands, real pressure, and actual operational conditions.

The beginning stages were far from easy. Although initial designs were mapped out in Figma, the system architecture had to be rebuilt multiple times. The first technical team brought on board failed to deliver expected results, forcing them to start over from scratch. All expenses for servers, developers, and tech tools were bootstrapped entirely out of personal funds. Even though the brokerage business continued to operate, he took zero salary.

By 2023, nearly $20,000 of personal funds had been poured into the project—heightening the urgency to find the right solution. For a while, they worked in parallel on two fronts: managing the brokerage by day and building the product by night. However, as the client base expanded, this dual model became unsustainable. In April 2026, both founders made the strategic choice to commit to TheCarGo full-time.

The milestones were hit incrementally: July 2024—the MVP launch; March 2025—the acquisition of the first paying customer; late 2025—the platform overhaul and full launch. Their first client— Roadleenk Inc was founded by a former member of Ziyobek’s team who went on to launch his own brokerage, and he remains a loyal user of TheCarGo to this day. Today, TheCarGo powers ten brokerage firms across the US. Clients have entirely migrated away from Salesforce, Excel, and isolated phone systems, centralizing all operations onto a single platform.

In June 2026, TheCarGo closed a $110,000 funding round backed by Yoshlar Ventures and US-based angel investors. This capital injection is being channeled toward deploying two new AI agents, automating onboarding processes, and scaling the team. A subsequent funding round, to be led by US investors, is slated for the next 6–8 months.

“We are building the logistics infrastructure for the US right from Uzbekistan. From the outside, it might seem like a paradox, but that is exactly where our strength lies—we know this problem inside out,” says co-founder Ziyobek Turdiyev.

TheCarGo is more than just a workflow tool. The founders envision it evolving into an infrastructure-level platform for the entire US auto-transport brokerage industry. In 2026, the team plans to relocate to the US to be closer to their core market—which could mark the beginning of the next major chapter.
