Another shocking event has shaken the cybersecurity world. Hackers linked to the North Korean government have planted spyware on the Google Play Store to secretly monitor Android users. This cyberattack was revealed in a recent report by Lookout, a cybersecurity firm.
According to researchers, the spyware, named “KoSpy”, was designed to collect sensitive user data without detection. Shockingly, the app was downloaded more than 10 times from the Google Play Store before being discovered. Lookout has also shared screenshots of the app’s page as evidence.
