The investment will support the expansion of AliPos’s SaaS platform that helps restaurants automate operations and manage performance through centralized data.
Tashkent, Uzbekistan — Uzbekistan’s technology startup ecosystem has reached a new milestone as AliPos, a SaaS platform for the HoReCa (Hotel, Restaurant and Catering) industry, secured a $200,000 investment offer after its appearance on the debut season of Taqdimot (The Pitch Uzbekistan).
The proposed investment round is led by Central Asian University, a part of AKFA Group of Companies, together with venture capital fund AloqaVentures. The offer is currently subject to due diligence and follows a previous $80,000 first-round investment from AloqaVentures, which marked an early stage of investor support for the platform.
The participation of established private-sector investors highlights the increasing interaction between traditional business capital and Uzbekistan’s growing technology startup ecosystem. Such partnerships play a key role in expanding access to financing and supporting the development of scalable digital solutions in the country.
AliPos provides an integrated SaaS platform designed to simplify operations for restaurants and hospitality businesses. Rather than functioning only as a digital cash register, the platform combines several core management tools within a single system, including point-of-sale (POS) operations, inventory control, financial reporting, and customer analytics.
The platform has already gained notable traction in the domestic HoReCa market. According to the company, more than 1,291 restaurants and cafés currently operate on the AliPos platform. The startup reports an average onboarding rate of approximately 107 new establishments per month, reflecting steady demand for digital management tools in the hospitality sector. AliPos currently operates with a team of 23 professionals, supported by a nationwide network of 29 partners. The platform includes more than 10 core product modules and integrates with over 20 external SaaS services and delivery platforms, which allows restaurants to manage multiple business functions through one system.
“Restaurants often generate strong revenue but struggle with profitability because of manual processes and limited operational oversight. AliPos solves this by automating operations and giving businesses clear, centralized data to manage performance and efficiency,” said Jonibek Miralomov, founder of AliPos.
The company reports that operational improvements followed participation in the first cohort of the A9R Accelerator, led by Alisher Khasanov. After the program, the AliPos founding team introduced a fully data-driven management model. The transition resulted in a 30% reduction in monthly expenses and a 24% increase in monthly sales.
The new capital will support further development of the platform’s technology, expansion of customer support services, and growth across Uzbekistan’s HoReCa market, while also reflecting broader economic changes in the country, where digital entrepreneurship and private-sector innovation have become key priorities within the national reform agenda. Technology platforms that support small and medium-sized businesses contribute to the modernization of service industries and help accelerate Uzbekistan’s transition toward a more diversified and technology-driven economy. Rather than pursue rapid valuation growth typical of Silicon Valley startups, AliPos focuses on building what its founders describe as a resilient “desert camel” company, a business designed for financial discipline, adaptability, and sustainable growth within developing markets.
