A special training and practical seminar is being held at the State Banking Academy from December 21 to 23, 2024, for district (city) governors and bank leaders. The primary goal of the seminar is to strengthen cooperation between local governments and banks, ensure employment, and discuss strategies to expand income sources through plans to be implemented in 2025.
Seminar Overview
The event has been organized as part of the implementation of instructions issued during the videoconference chaired by the President of Uzbekistan on December 16, 2024. District and city governors, regional heads of the Central Bank, and leading specialists in the financial and banking sectors are participating in the seminar.
During the seminar, the following topics are being discussed:
• The effective allocation of financial resources by banks to support employment;
• Measures to ensure the repayment of loans and attract additional credit lines for small businesses;
• Mechanisms for financing targeted projects aimed at developing regional financial systems.
This seminar aims to foster collaboration between local governments and banking institutions, enhance economic stability, and contribute to the financial well-being of citizens.
