Yammiy — Delivering Your Sweetest Dreams

A feature article written with the insight of a 30-year industry veteran

In the growing ecosystem of Uzbek startups, Yammiy has emerged as a bold and timely solution — not just as a dessert delivery service, but as an entire digital infrastructure designed for local confectioners and customers alike. It stands at the intersection of technology, tradition, and taste.

The Beginning and the Founders

Yammiy was founded by Gulrux Ismoilova, a driven and visionary young entrepreneur studying Finance & Fintech at Qarshi State University. Despite being a second-year student, Gulrux has already completed the prestigious Founder School and Startup Boost programs. She previously launched “Yemak,” a food delivery app that gave her insight into the logistics and digital marketplace in Uzbekistan.

She is joined by two accomplished technologists:

Ruslan Rustamov – Co-founder of Open Web Academy and tech lead of Yemak.

Davlat G‘aniyev – A software veteran with 13 years of experience, founder of For Each Soft, and an expert in automation and tech education.

Together, this team blends technical depth, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong local insight.

The Idea and Evolution

Yammiy began with a simple observation: independent confectioners in Uzbekistan often lack time, tools, or logistics to reach customers effectively. Likewise, customers struggle to find affordable, high-quality sweets — especially for events. Yammiy built a three-sided platform:

Confectioners — gain access to orders and customers;

Customers — order sweets quickly, affordably, and reliably;

Couriers — earn income by delivering locally made desserts.

The service operates via:

Mobile app

Position in the Market

What sets Yammiy apart is its exclusive focus on desserts. Competing platforms like Coozin, Safia, or Yemak offer limited or generalized services. Yammiy offers:

• Local delivery with speed guarantees;

• 10% platform commission (less than competitors);

• Strong relationships with small producers.

It also supports female entrepreneurship, a growing trend in Uzbekistan’s tech ecosystem.

Funding and Investment

Yammiy is currently seeking its first seed round with the following structure:

• Company valuation: $300,000

• Requested investment: $15,000

• Equity offered: 5%

Planned use of funds:

• 50% — Marketing

• 25% — Technological development

• 12.5% — Expansion

• 12.5% — Legal/admin expenses

Milestones and Goals

By the end of 2025, Yammiy aims to:

• Partner with 50+ confectioners

• Collaborate with 10+ manufacturers, including beverage producers

• Handle 150+ daily orders

• Achieve projected annual revenue of 562.5 million UZS

These figures reflect a calculated, phased rollout designed to validate the market and scale sustainably.

Conclusion

Yammiy isn’t just another food delivery app. It’s a socially responsible, tech-powered venture built to empower local businesses, especially women-led enterprises. By specializing in a high-demand niche — sweets — and offering operational reliability, Yammiy is creating a unique footprint in the Uzbek digital economy.

Startups like Yammiy aren’t just building platforms — they’re building ecosystems.

Yammiy: Bringing your sweetest dreams to your doorstep.
