Yandex launches its Marketplace in Uzbekistan

Yandex Uzbekistan officially launched its new Market platform on April 7. The long-anticipated marketplace is now available through the Yandex Go app and currently operates in Tashkent city and parts of the Tashkent region.

What does the marketplace offer?

Yandex Market provides a wide range of product categories, including:

  • Electronics and home appliances
  • Household goods and DIY supplies
  • Clothing and footwear
  • Beauty and personal care items
  • Products manufactured by Yandex Factory

The platform also offers users personalized product selections and the ability to compare items by price and specifications, enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Yandex Factory: Original In-House Brands

In addition to partner products, the marketplace showcases goods under Yandex’s proprietary labels:

  • Lunnen – computer technology
  • Commo – electronic accessories
  • Tuvio – home equipment
  • Pragma – household essentials
  • Junion – children’s goods
  • Cubits – remote-controlled toys
  • Nocord – electrical tools

Fast and flexible delivery options

One of Market’s standout features is its new “one-click delivery” format. In this model, orders are first delivered to the nearest Lavka darkstore. Once ready, the customer receives a notification and can collect the order within 15 minutes at their convenience. Additional Lavka products can also be added to the Market order and delivered together.

Customers can also choose to receive orders through pickup points, with 60 locations currently operational across Tashkent. The number is expected to expand to 250 nationwide by the end of the year.

Delivery is free for all pickup point and “one-click” orders. Courier delivery is free for purchases over 1 million UZS.

Payment and installment options

Yandex Market supports multiple payment methods:

  • Online payment via the app or website
  • Cash on delivery
  • Card payment at pickup points

Additionally, the platform offers a Yandex Split service, allowing customers to pay in installments of 2, 4, or 6 months. Shoppers make an initial payment, and the remaining amount is automatically deducted according to a fixed schedule from their linked card.
