On January 13, 2025, the President signed Law No. OʻRQ-1018 “On Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan ‘On State Duty.'”
Now, in cases where the location (postal address) of business entities and other legal entities changes due to the establishment or abolition of administrative-territorial units, or changes in their boundaries or subordination, they are exempt from paying the state duty for re-registration.
Additionally, policyholders are exempt from paying the state duty on claims arising from mandatory insurance contracts.
The document has been published in the National Database of Legislative Acts and came into force on January 15, 2025.
