Clockster consolidates assets with Workly to build Central Asia’s largest HR & WFM platform

Kazakhstan’s HRtech startup Clockster has announced the consolidation of assets with Uzbekistan’s Workly, acquiring part of Workly’s assets and taking over its product and team. Following the transaction, both solutions will continue under a single, unified Clockster brand, with a mandate to accelerate product development and regional growth.

Aiming for regional leadership in HR & Workforce management

Post-deal, Clockster is setting its sights on becoming the largest HR and Workforce Management (WFM) platform in Central Asia. The company plans to expand its footprint and strengthen its market position across Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan. A key strategic goal is to establish a unified digital standard for workforce management tailored to the needs of HoReCa, Retail, and Manufacturing—sectors with complex scheduling, compliance, and payroll requirements.

Southeast Asia on the 2026 roadmap

Looking beyond Central Asia, Clockster has mapped out aggressive international expansion for 2026, targeting Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Singapore. These markets are seeing strong demand for modern HRtech that streamlines the management of frontline employees, from shift planning to time tracking and payroll automation.

End-to-end employee lifecycle under one roof

By bringing the two teams and products together, Clockster plans to offer an integrated ecosystem that covers the entire employee lifecycle:

  • Hiring & Onboarding: streamlined recruitment, document collection, and first-day readiness
  • Scheduling & Time/Attendance: shift planning, attendance tracking, and absence management
  • Payroll: automated payroll calculations with fewer manual steps and reduced error rates
  • Learning & Development: tools to onboard and upskill staff at scale

What each product brings

  • Workly — a cloud-based system that allows businesses to track employee time and attendance, calculate payroll, and view workforce data centrally.
  • Clockster — an automated solution that helps HR managers and business owners process payroll with ease, reducing administrative overhead and tightening compliance.

Combining these strengths under the Clockster brand is designed to deliver a more comprehensive, scalable, and user-friendly platform for mid-market and multi-location businesses.

About clockster

Clockster provides automation tools that make payroll and workforce operations simpler for HR teams and business owners. With the integration of Workly’s capabilities and team, Clockster is doubling down on product velocity and regional reach to serve fast-growing companies across Central Asia and, beginning in 2026, Southeast Asia.

About Workly

Workly is a cloud HR system focused on time and attendance, payroll, and consolidated employee data. Its tools help operations-heavy organizations improve labor visibility, optimize schedules, and pay teams accurately and on time.
