As part of these efforts, a comprehensive set of model documents has been prepared and made publicly available to assist startups in structuring investment deals and preparing the necessary legal documentation.
This package is designed to address the key legal aspects startups commonly face when working with investors and partners. It includes the following essential documents:
- Investment agreements – available for both resident and non-resident investors, with options for single or multi-tranche deals;
- Side Letter – an addendum to the SAFE agreement, adapted for Uzbekistan’s legal framework;
- Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE) and Convertible Promissory Note – instruments for attracting venture capital;
- Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) – provided in both Russian and English;
- Due Diligence checklist – a structured guide for verifying a startup’s core information;
- Pitch deck template – an investor presentation format aligned with international standards.
The primary goal of this initiative is to simplify the preparation process for startups entering negotiations with investors, enhance their legal literacy, and reduce the time and financial costs associated with document preparation. These templates can be used for attracting venture capital, concluding contracts with potential investors, and fulfilling internal compliance requirements.
