Today, the startup ecosystem is entering a new phase. Artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and deep tech are changing the future of business and society.

If entrepreneurs can embrace these trends and learn how to use them, they can create world-changing startups. Here, we take a look at the key trends that are expected to have a major impact on the startup world in the coming years.

1. AI-centric startups: From add-on to core product

While AI was previously only a tool to improve business processes, it is now becoming a core product for startups. That is, AI is no longer just an automation or auxiliary function, but a central element of business. The following areas are likely to see the biggest changes:

  • AI agents and virtual assistants – AI-powered software will help people in customer service, HR, marketing, and more. For example, a virtual customer service representative could answer questions, chat with customers, or schedule appointments for employees.
  • Personal AI assistants – AI technologies are creating systems that are personalized to each user. This opens up huge opportunities for healthcare, education, and everyday productivity. For example, AI could create a virtual doctor who can provide personalized health advice.
  • AI solutions for small businesses – While AI was previously only available to large corporations, it is now becoming affordable and accessible to small businesses. Artificial intelligence can help small companies increase efficiency by automating sales, marketing, customer service, and other business processes.

2. Automation Revolution: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics

AI and robotics are merging to create entirely new industrial standards. Automation is no longer limited to large factories and plants, but is also entering agriculture, logistics, service, and even personal life.

  • AI-controlled robots – Artificial intelligence is enabling robots to control industries such as manufacturing, agriculture, delivery, and even construction. For example, autonomous planting and harvesting robots are being developed for farms.
  • AI-controlled humanoid robots – Artificial intelligence robots are expected to replace humans in the service industry, hospitality industry, and care systems. For example, the emergence of AI-controlled nurses could help improve healthcare in nursing homes or hospitals.
  • Autonomous micro-factories – Small manufacturing centers (micro-factories) controlled by AI will serve to manufacture specialized and personalized products in the future.

3. Blockchain and AI Integration

Blockchain and AI are merging to create a new model for business and economics.

  • Decentralized AI models – AI will work with blockchain to secure data and distribute AI processes. This will enable the efficient management and protection of large amounts of data.
  • AI-integrated smart contracts – AI can now be integrated into smart contracts, helping to create real-time business transactions.
  • Workforce tokenization – This model allows people to sell their knowledge and expertise in the form of tokens or provide their services via cryptocurrency.

4. Deep technologies: Quantum computing, biotechnology and space industry

  • Quantum computing – Quantum computers can perform calculations thousands of times faster than traditional computers. This will create new opportunities in cybersecurity, pharmaceuticals and logistics.
  • Biotechnology in AI Exploration – New drug development, personalized medicine (developing a drug that is right for each patient), and genetic modifications will be further developed with the help of AI.
  • Space startups – Innovations in the field of satellites, asteroid mining, and space manufacturing are developing rapidly.

The Startup Garage team is focusing on these areas and is trying to discover new talents in these areas.

5. Future of Work and Education

  • AI Career Companions – Artificial intelligence systems that help users find jobs and learn new skills.
  • Adaptive Learning with AI – Smart learning systems that adapt to the needs of each student or learner.

6. Sustainable Technologies and Solutions to Climate Change

  • AI Climate Monitoring – Artificial Intelligence helps predict natural disasters and climate change in advance.
  • Next-Generation Energy Storage Systems – New technologies are being developed to efficiently store renewable energy sources.

Startup Garage invests in green energy technologies and supports startups in this area.

Future startups focus on solving real-world problems by combining artificial intelligence, decentralized technologies, and deep research-based technologies.

If you want to create the future – the Startup Garage team is ready to work with you!
