Founded in 2012, the GSA competition unites technology entrepreneurs from more than 120 countries. Over the years, it has received more than 160,000 applications and helped dozens of successful projects enter the global market, including 16 unicorn startups with a combined valuation of over $64 billion.
The final program featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, and meetings with investors. Among the speakers were Kim Balle, co-founder of GSA, and Christopher Haley, an expert at Startup Genome, who highlighted the rapid growth of the startup ecosystem in Central Asia and Tashkent in particular.
As a result of the competition, the best projects of the region were determined.
