Earlier this year, we reported that Comfi had successfully closed a $65 million Pre-Series A funding round. The company has now reached another important milestone, with Yango Ventures officially joining Comfi as a strategic investor.

The investment also marks a significant step for Yango Ventures, as Comfi becomes the fund’s first investment in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The move highlights the fund’s confidence in Comfi’s growth trajectory and the increasing demand for embedded finance solutions across the region.

Founded by Uzbek entrepreneurs Sanjar Samiyev and Alisher Akbarov, Comfi develops embedded finance infrastructure for small and medium-sized businesses. Its platform offers B2B Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL), invoice discounting, and dealer financing solutions, allowing businesses to access working capital directly within their day-to-day operations. By integrating financing into business workflows, Comfi helps companies reduce financing cycles from several months to as little as a single day.

Today, Comfi serves more than 1,000 business customers across the MENA region. The platform has processed over 15,000 invoices and is used by more than 4,000 finance professionals, reflecting its growing adoption among enterprises.

According to Daniil Shuleyko, CEO of Yango Group, the company’s mission is to strengthen digital business infrastructure across emerging markets. He noted that Comfi enables businesses to gain faster access to working capital by embedding financing directly into commercial transactions, making the model highly scalable across multiple markets.

Notably, Yango Ventures had already participated in Comfi’s previously announced $65 million Pre-Series A funding round. By formally announcing the investment, the fund has now confirmed that Comfi represents its first-ever investment in the MENA region.

The announcement further reinforces Comfi’s position as one of the region’s fastest-growing fintech startups and demonstrates how a company founded by Uzbek entrepreneurs continues to attract leading international investors while helping shape the future of embedded finance in the Middle East.
